I began my career in an era where marketing in telecom was primarily about the traditional hustle – cold calling, networking, and the occasional door-to-door pitch. However, it was this challenging environment that sparked my interest in email marketing. I wasn’t satisfied with the conventional methods, so I started experimenting with personalized email campaigns. By crafting copy that resonated on a personal level, I was able to increase my open rates and foster genuine connections. This experience paved the way for my pivot into the marketing realm.

As I continued to improve my direct communication skills, I also dove into the world of affiliate marketing. This was more than just a hobby for me, it was an opportunity to gain a thorough education in digital advertising strategies. I learned how to master paid advertising and design landing pages that convert visitors into customers. I delved deep into the mechanics of online traffic and learned how to navigate the fine line between being a nuisance and being necessary. My experience with affiliate marketing allowed me to test and understand the complexities of driving traffic and converting visitors into customers.

In 2018, I made the strategic decision to transition full-time into marketing, a field where I could leverage my accumulated knowledge and passion for connecting with audiences on a deeper level. Focusing on the pillars of modern marketing—SEO, Paid Search, and, of course, Email Marketing—I found my niche in the Behavioral Health sector. It’s here that I’ve been able to apply my expertise to the sensitive and complex area of Drug and Alcohol Addiction recovery, developing targeted strategies that not only increase visibility but also promote meaningful engagement and support within the community.

Today, as the VP of Marketing at Ria Health, I lead our marketing efforts with a blend of strategic vision and tactical execution. From advancing our SEO initiatives to optimizing our paid media strategies, my goal transcends mere visibility. I’m committed to building a community that feels supported and engaged, one innovative campaign at a time.
